Completely Astonishing
This is not a word of a lie.
Today at work I attended a meeting where we were informed that this meeting was a follow-up to a previous meeting that was held in 1994.
This is truly an excellent example of the efficiency of our government.

Oh my. But what are the odds that the people who had the first meeting are still there 16 years later? There might be a few, but wouldn't most have moved on to other departments or retired? Why say it's a follow up? It's like an entirely new meeting.
I realize you've asked yourself all these things already but I'm just amazed.
