A Poll on Manners

Dish is of the opinion that clipping one's fingernails in a public place (i.e. one's cubicle at work) is just bad manners, pure and simple. Some disagree (Dish won't name names to protect the not-so-innocent). Feel free to voice your opinion in the comments section. Do you agree with Dish? Why or why not?

Hee hee. When you wrote public place, it reminded me of last week when the Prof meant to write 'public' on the board but wrote 'pubic'. Hee hee.

Gus Johnson is with Dish on this one. He once sat across from a lady on the subway in Edmonton who decided to groom herself in this manner. He immediately switched to a seat in the opposite end of the car to avoid getting any shrapnel in his eyes. Gus Johnson heard from a reliable source that this may cause gingivitis of the eye.

I'm confident that Dish knows what is appropriate or not in this world. Consequently, I won't even critically analyse this and just go with whatever she suggests.

Can I just point out that I'd like a poll on whether or not people love or hate people who refer to themselves in the third person.

Personally, Palmer loves it!
