Today's Beef
What's up with people (I won't name any names) who claim to be your friend and then tell you that their time is valuable and so they don't want to show up at movie nite at 7:30 p.m. if the movie is not really going to start till 8 p.m. Is it that bad to spend an extra half hour in my company? Sheesh.

No, but in this particular case where said person may have to go to the dentist which extends said person's schedule (5:00), then go to Orleans (6:00) so that he may have supper (6:20) and clean the house a little (7:00) since he feels bad that he's been letting his new roomate down and then go watch a movie (7:30), sometimes a half hour is pretty nice to have on days like those.
However, I stick with your ideals. Friends are stupid and if they can't spend an extra half hour with company what kind of friend are they? Definitely not one that I would want to have! ;-) Unless they have something you want to borrow. Then they are good to have. Or if they make you look good. And if they smell nice. Nice smelling people are good.
Oh Ryan. I am glad you are so good natured. You know I am just teasing. Besides, I always smell good, so by your books, I am a good friend to have! Yay me! If you are rushed you can have supper at my place if you want. Oh, and I forgot to include your new roomie on the email. I will go forward it to him now. He is also welcome to come along.
Cannot believe the movie didn't start until 8:30. What kind of ship are you running? ;-)
lol.
Thanks for the brownies trish, they were excellent!!
Well, now that movie nite has become an attraction for the masses it is not as easy to get everything going on time as it was when it was just me you and Ben as regulars!
